Mother: Good morning, you two.

Marcus: Ung... five more minutes, mom?
Marcus: [exchanges looks with Aqua]
[The three of them laugh]

Father: How's the patient?
Mother: He'll live to fight another day.
Father: Heh. Yeah.
Father: Look, kiddo, you'd better get up. You've a big day ahead of you.
Father: Don't want to waste it sleeping now, huh?
Marcus: Yeah...
Marcus: Dad, I've been thinking...
Marcus: Is there... is there really no way I can just... keep Aqua?
Father: No can do, sport. She's gotta go.
Father: If Team Rocket find her here, that wouldn't be good for us.
Father: You understand, right?
Father: Besides, Pokemon are good at taking care of themselves, aren't they?
Marcus: [sigh] ... yeah, I guess.
Mother: [scoffing at father] Well, I was GOING to surprise them with breakfast, but you had to kill the mood, huh?
Father: ... yeah. Sorry about that...
Father: Anyways, up and at 'em, you two.
Father: [leaves]

Marcus: Homemade waffles, right?
Mother: Oh, am I really that predictable?
Marcus: Only at motherly stuff, mom. But mark my words; I'll beat you at Mega Masher Men one day.
Mother: [chuckles] You keep dreaming, bucko.

at the table aqua was playing with her fork Aqua: what is this?

Marcus: [beats his mother to the table] Oh! You... are sitting at- OK.
Marcus: Sorry, didn't know you... sat at the table. Yeah, that is a fork.
Marcus: It- you use it to... I guess, hold the food as you put it in your mouth?

Aqua: oh um.. sorry if I don't know some of this stuff... I'm such a idiot...

Marcus: No no, it's fine. I'm just... my only experience with, um... not-human folk is with Ol' Mighty. I don't know.. how-
Mother: Aw, she's sitting at the table!
Mother: Oh, goodness me, where are my manners. I'm Elma.
Mother: I'm really really sorry I... well, I lost my composure when we first met, didn't I?
Marcus: Mom, it's OK. Just... sit down, maybe?
Mother: Right, of course.

Mother and Marcus: No, not at all!
[They eye each other]
Mother: Whatever makes you more comfortable, Aqua.

Father: [Looks at her, than at Elma] Really?
Mother: [hisses] Oh come on, dear, she's a guest.

they all enjoyed the waffles Aqua: wow... these waffles are gulp AMAZING!

Marcus: Mom's got her own recipe. You can't find that anywhere else.

Father: [Gets up] Alright, I'm off to work.
Father: [Pointing at Marcus] Now, son, you know the deal, right?
Father: When I get back, she is gone, and I never see her again. Understood?

Aqua: please... can't I stay?

Drigil
Father: [grits teeth] No. No, you cannot.
Marcus: Aw, dad...
Marcus: ... but... you're the boss.

Marcus: You... you have my word. You won't see her ever again.
Father: That's a good boy.
Father: Love ya, sport. Good luck.
Father: [departs with a wave]

Aqua: No... please... m-mama Elma...I don't wanna go... please...

Drigil
Elma (because why not): [sigh] I would love you to stay too, but...
Elma: ... well, if Trevor says no, then he's got his reasons.
Elma: But surely a smart little one like yourself can find a new home somewhere?
Elma: And then Marcus can go visit after school.

aqua whimpers as she walked over to Marcus and hugged his leg...

Marcus: [innocently] I guess it can't be helped. Sorry, Aqua.
Marcus: [leans down and whispers] I'm not letting anything happen to you.
Marcus: But ssh. Keep it up.

Marcus: Alright. I don't see anyone around.
Marcus: So. Before we do this... anything I should know about your ability to shrink?
Marcus: Like, does it give off microwaves or anything?
Marcus: And if you're small, does that mean you don't need to eat much?
Marcus: Because, you know, I'm not going to just be able to sneak you food from the pantry. They're gonna notice.

Aqua: well...when I'm tiny... nothing bad happens to me or you...but yes..I don't have to eat much...in fact 1 grape and yeah I'm full for breakfast...

Marcus: OK, good, that... that keeps things simple.

aqua shrank down to 3 inches tall...and Marcus picked her up slowly and gently

Marcus: Alright. But let's not go back just yet. We'd better think about this some more.

Aqua: okay... She jumped off his hand and she grew until she was as tall as Marcus

Drigil
Marcus: Alright. I'm not leaving you in my room all alone. You're coming with me wherever I go.
Marcus: School, shopping, wherever.

Aqua: I don't have a problem with that...

Drigil
Marcus: Yeah, you say that now...

Marcus: But remember, you gotta stay still, be super quiet...

Aqua: okay... She shrank down again and Marcus picked her up again and he put her in his...shirt pocket or jacket pocket?

(Kinda. But yeah, he's wearing a jacket)
Marcus: Alright, I think we've stayed here long enough.
Marcus: We'd better get back home. I don't want to have any more run-ins with-

[The hybrid returns, hissing and zipping through the air back and forth toward them]

[Emerges from behind a tree]
Marcus: ... no. No, Aqua, wait.
Marcus: No sudden movements.
Marcus: If I run, it's gonna attack.
Marcus: Just... stay there. No breathing...

(remember she's in the Jacket pocket)
she stopped moving and breathing for now

Drigil
Marcus: Just... stay calm... it's... it's looking for your scent...
Marcus: But you're in my pocket. I'm... masking it with mine.
Marcus: This is just like Heracross Hunters. Just like that game.
Monster: Ssss...
(Monster needs a name...)
(Nah, it doesn't)
Monster: [Wanders over, has Marcus in its gaze]
Monster: [Flaps up to his face, flicking its tongue]
Marcus: [Trying to control his breathing] gasp... gasp...
Monster: [Floats down to his jacket, flicks tongue]
Marcus: [holds up hands, prepared to push it away]
Monster: [passes by pocket]
Marcus: Whew...
Marcus: [whispers] See, Aqua? It's fine. Nothing's gonna-
CHOMP

Marcus: YAAAAOOW!
Marcus: [jumps on the monster's tail, it releases him]
Marcus: [kicks the monster as hard as he can - it sails about 15 feet and slams into a tree]
Monster: FSSSS! [darts off angrily]
Marcus: Aaaugh! [collapses, clutching his leg]
Marcus: @#$%! The @#$%ing thing must be poisonous! This stings a LOT!

Aqua: AHH YOU OKAY?!? she jumped out and returned to normal size

Drigil
Marcus: Aaargh, I'm such an idiot. You hugged my leg over and over. you got your scent on my leg. Why the @#$% did I bring the same pair of pants with me?

Aqua: I'm sorry...I should take you to a hospital!

Drigil
Marcus: Raagh. Ah, it hurt.
Marcus: No! No no! It's fine.
Marcus: Antidote. Just about every shop has one.
Marcus: You'd... agh, you'd be surprised how many people get bitten by snakes out in the forest.

Aqua: can you walk?

Drigil
Marcus: I... ah, yeah, I can. It just... really hurts.
Marcus: It... I'd like to say Ekans poison isn't lethal, but I don't even think that thing was an Ekans.
Marcus: Look around for a shop. They've got bright blue roofs.

Aqua: no...we don't have time... She grabbed his leg...and she closed her eyes...and her aura sensers started to glow...

Drigil
Marcus: Aw what now? Ah...

some water from a near by lake came by in a bubble as she used her powers of water and aura to heal his bite...the water washed away the blood and poison and the aura fixed his leg...it was like that monster never bit him

Drigil
Marcus: Wow.
Marcus: Ok. We're not going back until you tell me absolutely everything you can do.

she passed out...it seems that what she did took some of her energy

Drigil
Marcus: [sigh]
Marcus: Dangit. I don't wanna wait here, but I can't bring you home full-sized...
Marcus: [Picks up Aqua] ... ah. My leg's still a bit numb. Guess magical healing powers aren't perfect...

Marcus: ... oh, good. You're lucky, Aqua. I would've taken you to that Pokemon Center over there if you didn't do that.
Marcus: Alright. Mission... accomplished, I guess.
Marcus: Hope this goes well...

Aqua: so... tired... He rubbed her head with one finger

Marcus: Yeah, I would imagine. It's OK, we're going home. [Hobbles on home].
Marcus: [stops for a moment]
Marcus: [pondering to self] ... last chance, Marcus. You just got freakin' bit by a flying snake monster. What's gonna come next. Not too late to just leave her here and get home...
Marcus: ...
Marcus: ... No. Why the @#$% would I ever do that?
Marcus: Gotta take more then a snake bite to stop me.
Marcus: [checks numb leg] ... man, that bruised something nasty. look how purple that is...
Marcus: Heh. Mom will freak out, but Dad will be thrilled...
