Done for the wonderful
Nerull142000 as a very lovely gift. No matter how many times she has transformed and tormented her author, her colleagues and her cursees, Enedia is capable of being somewhat kind. (This is before she made her author only speak while braying).

Acrathia and Cassandra belong to
Nerull142000 and Enedia and, well, me belongs to myself.
So, this is the end of Enedia's Art Sale and I just have to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. Thank you very much
Dearshul for not only creating these incredible pieces of art, but for also coming up with the idea. This was one of the nicest things that anyone has ever, ever done for me. I won't be forgetting this. Thank you very much for the people who donated,
ealadubh,
Altpal234 and
gregoro, as well as
Nerull142000 and
nobody32 for allowing us to use your fantastic characters. Hopefully, I'll be able to do something like this again, most likely I'll be doing this by myself to also test out more of what I'm capable of doing. Maybe in the future, I might do some adopts if people are interested in them. Thank you all very much for this!

Enedia: Well, he could join our little herd over here, but since you so suggested... *a green light shone from Enedia's hands and onto the author* ...I shall. *Already fur was covering his body, antlers sprouting out of his head, and his hands and feet were hooves* I think that I've done a good job here, what do you think? Acrathia? Cassandra?
Enedia: Honestly, I think you look better as a donkey than a fox, it makes your hair stand out more. Acrathia, those robes... I would just like to say thank you for them. They meant a lot to me. I'm glad you are taking me on as an apprentice and I do hope that I do not disappoint.
Cassandra: *blushing* Thank you Enedia, I may have to consider becoming other animals that I wouldn't have thought of becoming before.
Acrathia: There will always be disappointments when it comes to instructing anyone on the art. But I am confident your triumphs will vastly outweigh any setbacks that we may face.

Oh, I don't doubt that. I merely wondered if there is anything of who they were beyond that left and it seems not. I have always preferred to retain something of myself, something conscious to provide a degree of continuity regardless of the form under which it must abide.

*my smile fades as I blink several times, staring down my snout, and then running my paws over my arms and twisting around to look at my haunches, footpaws, and tail* Oooh, wow, I think you did. I'm a mouse; I can remember it all. During and before... this feels so... squeak... normal to me. Yet... why do I still feel like I want to help out the farm?

*my ears and whiskers perk up at the mention of cheese* Squeak! Oh cheese would be lovely! Thank you, ma'am!
*I fall to all fours for a moment to scamper closer but then sit back up on my haunches* Oh, my. That felt very natural. You did do very well. I need to think about this and remember, figure out what bad you took out and what good you put in me... but um, first, squeak cheese please!

Squeak! Thank you, ma'am! Thank you very much!
*I take the platter in my paws and glance around for a table I can set it on, and then opt for just putting it on the floor and sitting down on my haunches with back arched. I pick each piece of cheese in both paws, lift it to my snout, and nibble them with my incisors, eyes blinking contentedly as I eat; I brush the crumbs from my whiskers after finishing each piece.*

*I nod after finishing off one of the wedges* Squeak! Oh yes, it's quite good, ma'am! Thank you! You take such good care of me! *I pick up another but stop with the morsel halfway to my snout* I'm still trying to think about what I said, the good and bad and all that. Hopefully I can figure it out after I finish. Squeak! *nibble, nibble*

I lower my whiskers for a moment, my tail twitching back and forth. A soft chitter escapes my throat as I rub my paws over top of one another. After a few seconds I lift my eyes and ears and shake my head, "No, of course not, ma'am. I guess that must have been one of the bad things. I cannot think of anything I am worried about either, ma'am. Just things I'm curious about and feel I should be doing." I squeak again and reach down for another wedge of cheese. Only two more remain before the plate is empty.
Dominus tecum
Dominus tecum
I blink at that and lower my whiskers and ears, crouching down further on my haunches. "Oh, no, I haven't! I'm so sorry, ma'am Please forgive me!" I drop to all fours to scamper around the platter and then sit back on my haunches to nuzzle at your side with my snout, chittering all the while. "I should be more appreciative, you're right. You do take care of me, ma'am."
Dominus tecum

I chitter and nuzzle your side one more time before leaning back and smiling up at Enedia. "Thank you, ma'am. This does seem like a good farm and I want to know it and help it better." I cast a furtive glance back at the platter with two cheese wedges left, "May I finish the cheese first, please?" And then my ears lift and my eyes boggle, a twitch hitting my tail. "Your mother lives here too?"
Dominus tecum

My eyes widen and poke out of the sides of my head, whiskers standing straight out. I nibble on the cheese in silence, scratching behind my ear with one footpaw as I finish the cheese. "She is the farm... that... that's amazing, ma'am. We're part of her too, us animals at the farm, right?"
Dominus tecum

I chitter squeak very loudly at the praise, standing up as tall with my big ears as wide as I can while lashing my tail back and forth. In my excitement I send the plate across the room with a good sized whack of my tail. "Ooops! I'll get that, ma'am!" I drop to all four and scamper across the room, grabbing the plate in my forepaws and walking it back to you. "Here's your plate. Sorry about that!"

I chitter and lift my chin, whiskers twitching up and down, nose swelling to sniff even as my tail begins to swing back and forth again across the floor. "Ooooh. I do want to help. And thank you, ma'am, for letting me remember myself. Is there... what should I be calling you, ma'am? I want to do things right here at the farm."

I nod and chitter, ears held high, "Lady Enedia is very kind! She already fed me cheese and took away the worries I had. I am eager to help out on the farm for her." I wiggle my tail as I lean a little further over the wood fence. "You're married? Is your husband a rodent like me?"
Dominus tecum

I continue to chitter, casting a quick glance around the fence and field to see how many sheep are there and if there is an obvious way in or if I should just jump over it. "Oh? I look forward to meeting him then, Martha. So, do you watch the sheep too, or am I supposed to be watching you too?"
Dominus tecum
Dominus tecum
I chitter and nod my head, "Of course, of course. I'm just still trying to learn about the farm. Who is Caitlyn?" I finally decide just to climb up over the wooden fence and give a squeak when I land in the grass on the other side. I cradle my tail a moment where it bumped against the fence.

I hold my tail up and nod, "It feels okay now, I just thought I scraped it. Lady Enedia gifted me this tail only today and I'm still learning how to use it." I smile and squeak to her, "Thank you, Martha, for helping me. Caitlyn does sound nice; a nervous bear meets an eager mouse! So you make clothing for her?"

I pet my tail one more time and then draw it back out of my paws and settle it down in the lightly-cropped grass. "Oh, right from your own wool, now that must make them extra special then, spinning and weaving and all that. That's so wonderful!" I chitter squeak and smile down at my tail. "It feels fine now, and yes, just today! I was worried about losing myself, but Lady Enedia helped me lose my worry instead, and now I'm an animal and she takes care of me. I'm a big cute mouse now! Squeak!"
Dominus tecum

I squeak in delight at the praise, and then blink at the question. I take a deep breath and ponder for a few seconds before saying in a quieter voice, "I don't know, Martha. I hadn't thought about them; I don't want them to miss me and I do want to see them again. I hope they like me as a cute mouse too! But I don't know if they know I'm here." I close my eyes again and rub my paws over my whiskers. "I remember thinking before I became a mouse that I was visiting too, but now I'm part of the farm. To tell the truth, I'm feeling a little confused, Martha. But I'm not worried, I'm sure it can all be sorted out."
Dominus tecum

I rub my paws together and chitter hopefully. "I'm sure you're right, Martha. I'll ask Lady Enedia when I'm finished with my duties." I glance out at the normal sheep in the field and wiggle my tail. "She told me to watch the sheep after all, and I'm a mouse who does a good job!"

Martha: Well, you are doing a very, very good job. I'm happy to see you join us. I'm guessing that you haven't got a place to sleep yet. How about you join me and David inside our pens. I'm sure that he won't mind, in fact I think we would appreciate having another rodent around here. I do think that Enedia will take care of their worries as well and join the farm like you.
"Squeak! Why thank you, Martha. I would love to join you and David in your pens to sleep. I look forward to meeting your husband too, a rodent like me! Is he Big for a rodent too?"
I scratch behind an ear with one foot before sitting back up on my haunches, eyes watching both the sheep cropping the grass or laying down to enjoy the warm day and Martha the sheep-but-not-quite. "I'm sure you're right about that. I think they might be worried when they see me but she'll help them out too. I don't think I would have wanted that for us all before but now..." I chitter and smile, unable to worry, content to be an animal of the farm and help out. "Is that how you and your husband came here, Martha?"

"Oh, well, I do look forward to meeting him when it's time to put the sheep back in their pens for the night." I make a point of standing high on my paws to glance across the field at the flock.
I do not answer Martha's question right away, whiskers twitching for several seconds as I ponder it. Ears and eyes lift in delight one moment to droop the next in deeper thought. "Well, Martha, that's a hard question. A part of me would enjoy having them here as mice with me and you and Lady Enedia and the others. But another part of me remembers wanting to watch my daughter grow up and all of the great things she would learn to do and wondering just what she would become and do in life, and I don't want her to miss out on any of that."

I smile back to Martha and twitch my whiskers and flick my ears and tail. "Oh I do have a family to look after and I will. I just... well, Lady Enedia took all the worries from me when she made me a mouse. So I don't worry any more, but I do know some things are better for my family than others. I'm sure Lady Enedia will agree." I tilt my head to one side, rubbing a hand across my snout for a moment. "I know that no matter happens it will all work out for the best."

Martha: I am glad that you at least see that this isn't for some. I do see that you are enjoying it.
David: Oh... hello! I'm so glad to meet you. I might not know much about you but... I-I'm just excited to see another mouse here! I'm David. I see that you've met my lovely wife, Martha. She is beautiful.
Martha: *blushes* Oh hush.

I nod to Martha and squeak. "Oh yes, I am enjoying being a mouse and working on the farm. I love being small and having big ears and a tail like this, it's very nice!"
I perk up, my big ears and whiskers lifting as I turn to see David there. I bounce on my feet and scamper over closer, grinning. "Hi, hi! I'm Matt! It is good to meet you too, David! Squeak! Yes, I have met your wife, and she told me about you. I'm glad to see another rodent too!"

Oh, I was only changed earlier today. I stopped by for a visit, I don't even recall and Miss Enedia took all my bad worries away and made me a mouse at the same time. Now she's asked me to help watch the flock and here I am! Martha and I have been talking about the farm and our families. And now I'm very happy to meet another rodent too!

David: Miss Enedia changed you? I should have known, you seem so happy! Miss Enedia does make every animal on the farm happy. Less so the others, but we enjoy what she did for us. And we are far safer here than where we were before. It is a cost that we are willing to pay.
Martha: It's true, she has done wonders for us. She has saved our lives, and has made David handsome.
David: Wasn't I handsome before?
Martha: *smiles* Of course, but I've almost forgotten what you used to look like. Either way, you still look handsome, my little mouse.
David: You still are beautiful, my little sheep.

I smile and chitter at the exchange between husband and wife. "You are both more beautiful because you are in love with each other! But yes, she changed me and I am quite happy in the now. I know something will have to be done for my family because there is much I want for them too, but I am not worried. We'll figure it out in time."

Martha: Matt, how long do you want to be here?
David: I understand that you have been altered slightly, but you do care for your family. We care for ours, and some of them look older than us, but we still treat them like our children, just grown up.
Martha: Maybe it's best to change back for a little while, and talk to us as... yourself.
David: I understand that you have been altered slightly, but you do care for your family. We care for ours, and some of them look older than us, but we still treat them like our children, just grown up.

I blink at the question, ears lifting all the way up, whiskers standing out. "I don't know how long I want to be here. I hadn't thought about it. I still don't know. I want to be here today at least. Afterward, I don't know. And yes, I do care for my family, they are the most important thing in the world to me! I'm a father and I must take care of my daughter."
I turn toward Martha and rub my paws over my snout. "As myself? You mean as a human?"

Both Martha and David guide you to the red barn. It looked so cozy, and it was warm, which was a huge plus.
David: I don't suppose that you have been cursed like us, have you? We've been here for generations. Sometimes even our grandchildren are older than us in body.
Martha: I honestly think that is somewhat a benefit. We still keep being young at heart.
David: That is definitely true. It is still lovely to know how our great-great-grandchildren are.

I look around and sniff the air everywhere we go on the way to the barn. I practically bounce on my paws, scampering on all fours as I investigate the interior of the barn. My ears lift at the question and I turn back to the husband and wife. "Oh no, I don't think so. I am still blessed to learn at the appointed time what lies beyond the mysterious door in the undiscovered country."

I lower my whiskers and ears and brush my hands over my snout, "Why thank you, David. I have read quite a few of the classics; sometimes a little slips through." I then flick my tail across the hay-strewn floor of the barn, "Oh, I know, Martha, it's just faster to scamper that way is all."
