The Appropriate Reaction - Sequence 07

Surprise! You folks get two parts in one night!
Why two parts all of the sudden?
... um, well, I suppose because I was driven to finish the sequence faster, but if you guys want a more practical, relative excuse, then... uh... because it is human holiday time and it is a time to celebrate life and old, somewhat out-of-date, and poorly interpreted traditions!
But I cannot judge that which brings you humans happiness. Keep up the efforts, and may you both give and receive much human currencies worth of gifts!
Like in the written story, Brad has reached the point where he's thinking; what if he fully becomes a fox? What of his future? While I'm sure many people would see a lot of potential, his fear is coupled with the possibility that he might actually lose his personality in the process and become a fully feral beast. Isn't that the same as dying, after all? What human doesn't fear death?
... hm. not very celebration themed. Maybe I should've worked on a different sequence.
Anyways, two more sequence panels to go. Next one's a bit of a lightning round, so look forward to that.

I've never seen a fox get offended by anything, and the reason is quite surprising.
Humans, I have noticed, built up a society that taboos the art of killing or attacking one another in response to being discomforted, so they seek out other methods of expressing their displeasure towards other humans. Quite often it is to involve other humans who are entirely unrelated to deal with the matter. In fact, some humans take it as their designated roles to handle such disputes.
Wild foxes don't have such a complicated society. They live independently or based off a simple system of worth. If something is worth keeping alive to aid in their endeavors, they will not attack it. Therefore, should something aggravate them, they will either directly attack it in response or flee.
But you seem to know more about foxes than I do, so my thought process may be entirely inaccurate. Apologies if it is so.

But there could be different ending.
Waiting for hands change.
