Okay so, I got challenged by Topios to draw an outfit for Allmight from the 90ies, and I had to share the conclusions we ended up coming to with it.
You know what superheroes liked to wear in the 90ies? Pouches. Pouches fucking everywhere.
But All Might doesn’t use guns or anything what would he keep in them?
Well let me tell you what was also a thing in the 90ies: Campaigns to get people to eat more fruit and vegetables.
What I am proposing here, is that in the 90ies All Might had an outfit full of little pouches, filled with healthy snacks, because he’d get all into the health campaigns.
Do you know how angsty superheroes were in the 90ies? Really angsty, like you wouldn’t believe it. If angst was a power source 90ies superheroes could have solved every energy crisis ever.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to take someone seriously while they’re eating a banana? Really fucking hard!
So picture this: everyone is being all angsty and shit and All Might just sort of… pulls a banana from one of his many many pouches and starts eating it while grinning like a lunatic.
People (here represented by shittily drawn Aizawa) get all bent out of shape and ask him to quit ruining their dramatic moments, so he stops and puts the banana away.
And then he pulls out a bag of baby carrots instead, and everyone’s like

THOSE ARE WORSE
But nobody says anything the second time because c’mon, he’s the symbol of peace let him have his friggen fruit already.
