Yantz is a worker cloned in the future, where her kind are seen as expendable population.
They live in sectors, and are overworked in areas the others perceive as hazardous or unclean.
One day, because of a busted leg, she is thrown in a collective confinement.
The rule will decide how to expel them. They are moved to a portal.
It is an unsafe way of getting rid of unfit workers, feeling her brain rattle as a green flash envelopes them.
Opening both eyes, there is a smell of dirt and plants, hidden in tall grass while sounds of vehicles whir by some where else.
She coughs to catch her breath, but is able to bring both legs to her chest as she slowly stands on both feet.
Overhearing, It is the toxins that have affected their cells from their working environment. Could that be possible?
Knowing she shouldnt stay alone, it is not her first action to join the others.
Lost in this unknown place, she backs up one step at a time, voices dissipating.
