Do you have any prior experience with fursuits?
No this is my first one, however two of my close friends do.
One of them was a fursuit maker and went over my head with me to help gather information for this review, my other friend owns three suits from the maker, none of which match the quality of the partial i received.

Did the maker finish the item by the expected date (ETA)?
There was no ETA given


Did you tell the maker about any issues you had?
Yes immediately. As soon as the box was received and opened I contacted the maker immediately.
What we agreed upon and what i paid for was no where near the quality she was known for or what was promised.
She claimed it was a temporary head to be worn for Anthrocon while she started my actual suit.
We did not agree on this, nor was it ever discussed.

HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Impossible to wear! The material, fabric, and foam made it not possible to breathe while wearing.
The ears had cardboard inside of them, and the fur was very low quality almost resembling the cheap jo ann craft fur.
The head base almost looks like the cheep bunny mask spirit halloween sells just slightly altered.
The inside of the head was layered with a thick fleece making it way top warm and constricting.
There was no ventilation whatsoever.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The quality of the head is extremely disappointing and not at all what i had ordered.
The head symmetry on the left side is uneven and looks dented.
The shaving is very uneven and choppy, the airbrushing is so rushed it makes the fur crunch and looks very out of place.
Fur feels very brittle and cheap, it doesn't seem like good quality.
Not at all satisfied with the expression, it looks way to dead pan and morbid.
I fear wearing the head as it seems like it would frighten kids.
It does not match my concept art at all, it was very loosely referenced.

Special Attachments and Features

The feet paws were never received even though they were paid for.
The head was suppose to be Stuffedpandastudios resin base with a movable jaw, neither of which were used.
The overall quality of the suit is very poor making the suit unwearable.

Hand paws were way to small, unshaven, unlined, and did not match the character reference
The feet paws themselves were never received.

Paws are same size, though some fingers are to tight and don't line up correctly.

Tail was the only salvageable part.
Though it is uneven, it is wearable.

How was your concept art realized?
I don't feel the maker followed the concept art at all rather loosely referenced it.


How well does everything fit together and match up?
Nothing matches, two different shades of grey were used when there should only be one.
The seams are popping and coming undone just from trying the suit on.

Head, and arm sleeves are way to tight and unwearable.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Through a friend, Text message, and paypal.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
It was fine if we weren't talking about the suit, but when i asked i never seemed to get a reply.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
She was professional during our earlier transactions, but when i requested a refund the maker denied me, and said she doesn't do refunds.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
Not at all happy. I never gave her a deadline, therefore she had plenty of time to work on the head but insisted on giving me a rushed partial.


Are you happy with the product you received?
Not at all happy, this was my first suit and I was really looking forward to it. Not only have i not been given even a partial refund, but the maker still has yet to apologize, or make the new suit as they had promised to do so. I have no hope of getting my money back, or the better suit promised.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
Maker has good communication skills but seems to do what they want when making suits. I never asked for a temporary suit nor did i ask for it to be completed so quickly as i was willing to wait for quality.
I have screen shots of all the transactions, interactions, and suit damage saved on my phone if a more detailed Review is required.
I would not recommend FBsuits to anyone, if you are planning to commission them please be cautious as her quality fluctuates rapidly.
