This one is Tabari, one of my favorite bad boys of all time. He's an Egyptian Cobra with a very sly mind between his ears and some rather good looks. He ran a criminal gang at five years old, and was actually rather successful until some Tier-1 bounty hunters finally broke that enterprise up, and he didn't let that keep him from scheming. He's grown up into a rather competent agent in his own right, tackling challenges not unlike Bond or Bourne would face, in the name of a particularly wealthy and powerful Middle-Eastern prince. All that to say yes, his smugness is very much warranted.

While Tabari's past isn't the happiest, he's not let that stop him from excellence. The sly snake can find a dozen ways into any room, more if it's secured, and he always delivers on his jobs. During off hours, he just enjoys simple pleasures, such as roaming the kingdom to partake of its atmosphere and culture, or romancing his love. Of course, should he ever decide he wants something, little can stop him from getting it, but even with his attitude he keeps a certain kind of humility about him these days. The fall of his early empire led to some valuable life lessons, and while he didn't take to them quite as his adoptive father would have wanted, he did learn that there's little to gain in tormenting people who don't deserve it. So scoundrel he may be, but one with enough honor to keep mostly on the right side of things. He's a good boy.
