Johnny rosin up your bow and play your fiddle hard~

Meet Jay. It's short for several things, really. Johnny, Argentus, Bluejay... He has quite a few names, being a roguish sort, and between the stage and the streets it pays to keep your identity a little mixed up.
He's one of my Pathfinder characters, at least originally. His first iteration was more Rogue/Bard multiclass, but lately he's been a pure Bard because it ultimately fits him better. But no matter where or what he is, he's always happy to strike up that golden fiddle and tell you the story of how he won it. ;3

Jay is a Basilisk, albeit a slightly unusual one. Even their species, with their massive gene pool, doesn't typically exhibit feathers like Jay's. He actually got those jay feathers from his father Altyrex, another corvid who happens to be the mate and main man of none other than Skye! Yep, Jay is one of Skye's kiddos! And young as he is, he's already learned several tricks from both of them in the ways of performing, persuading, and pilfering. He's not really the type for romance, despite everything in his life. Or maybe because of it... But he's quite a platonic lover once you earn his trust.

In addition to singing and fiddling, Jay is an accomplished stage magician and street performer, augmenting his various skills and acts with a little arcane magic. (At least where such exists.) Anything for a good show, a free room, and coin for food. He's also been on a few adventures, but strictly as the roguish support and a treasure hunter. He absolutely hates violence, and while he doesn't mind others defending themselves he won't do more than play support; It's rare indeed to see him lift any weapon against another living being. Better to take up the fiddle bow than the war bow.
