Skye's eyes, like those of all Basilisks, are a fantastically fascinating serpentine marble, able to capture the attention of all but the most strong-willed of creatures. Before her kind, even the mightiest predators can become prey with a careless glance. This is the origin of their mythological ability to turn others to stone with their gaze; While not a literal stone, most find themselves hypnotized into a passive state, unable to move or wrest their eyes away. Skye's in particular have conquered many an unwary individual, giving her a crucial edge against those who would kill her... Or merely those she wants to get something from. The people who hold her trust are less likely to be subjected to the treatment, and repeated exposure certainly lessens the effect, but it isn't really that bad. She doesn't bite too hard~

Kshanti's eye shots are so absolutely beautiful! Ever since I got the one of Draxxus, I've absolutely loved the format and style! I provided a description of he colors and said they were marbled, and this amazing artist did the rest! Skye's eyes came out so lovely and attention-grabbing, truly a masterful work and better than even I imagined! X3
