Kazootles! This chapter in the saga is just laden with surprises!
I can't help but wonder how this moment will effect the group and, furthermore, how it will come into play later. I mean, there have been a number of times where Fuxie has noticeably shown how protective she is of Nishi. So, being siblings does stand as a strong possibility. Though, after some thought, along with reading your "key words," I can't help but think there is something else behind why Fuxie is so defensive and bonded to Nishi. Like, before forming the Q&A, she may have done something that made her cross paths with Nishi and, out of a rare showing of regret, she took him under her wing?
Perhaps, and I can't help but theorize, it is like how Zelox put it. Fuxie was out one day when she either accidently, or purposely, killed Nishi's sister. Soon after, she comes into contact with Nishi who gets quite emotional as to why his sister has not returned and, for some reason, Fuxie opts to suggest that she is Nishi's sister transformed by a chance event brought about by the gods, or something.
So much potential for so many things with these guys. Very, very well done, Oxnard. Well done!

I think the next chapter, which wouldn't have come up without your help, will be pretty clear with foreshadowing. I think I was surprised to hear what some peoples' thoughts wee on the brother/sister thing. 8D And actually, I didn't understand Zelox's comment until I re-read it just now. I get what he was saying now. (: We'll see how things go!
