I know it says you become a different kind of monster when you get lost in the Lost Woods but wolfos always seemed like werewolves to me. Also think others agree as some sort of theory that anyone Hylian that gets lost also might be cursed to become a wolfos.
So in this drawing a Hylian decided to explore the woods and got lost. An evil presence seem to have found him before he could find a way out....
