Via some rp stuff, Inferno obtained a small tribe of kobolds from another dragon he ate. After having them rub his gut while their former master digested and disposing of her remains, he took them under his wing (figuratively) and brought them all to his lair to serve as his own minions to help with chores and such.
The existing kobold chief was too loyal and brave however, and resisted falling in line. Inferno talked to the other kobolds to screen for a new leader, and eventually chose the biggest female kobold, feeding her the former chieftain.
This kobold was a green, lightly plated kobold name Ikrassa. After this the tensions were a little high, digesting one of their own, but Inferno is generally pretty fair and accommodating to his subjects, so he grew on them over a month or two. Now they have a lower chamber accessed through his guestroom and storage room, connecting to a dim network of tunnels lit by candles and lanterns where the kobolds can rest, raise their families, and store the small trinkets the dragon allows them to keep.
Duties for the kobolds' side of the contract include cleaning the lair, ensuring prey remains such as bones aren't left around haphazardly, rubbing Gramzon's stomach when he dines on people, and guarding the lair from smaller intruders. Ikrassa has become somewhat of an adept predator for her small size, now capable of eating 2 adventurers on her own by making them underestimate her and with some stretching, but she can eat 4 total if fed the other two, before getting close to exploding and being completely immobile. while other kobolds may have a prey here and there, usually a larger party of adventurers would require inferno to eat them all , so most lone thieves end inside Ikrassa as a cream colored gut bulge and heft on her surprisingly plush ass for a 'bold.
She specializes in spears, and usually carries a candle lantern. If preparing for combat she may use a center grip round shield with a spike on the middle.
