* "the large rodent shook its head" mongooses are not rodents, they are carnivores. Only those who has special DENTs: BIG incisors and no cannines are. You should use the word "critter" instead.

I am a celestial body emulating life through a great coincidental arrangement of electrons. I am not very good at reading minds. I mean, I could look at the many strings of biological electronic connectors within the brain, but that is practically trying to look at an image off a computer by looking at it's 32-bit composition string. Much easier to impersonate them.
I can totally empathize with Louie. Even though I'm not terrified of animals, in my childhood I was terrified of wolves, and if I were to turn into Canis l. rufus back then I would probably have been shivering in as much fright. *glances around at all the wolf memorabilia in my room* I guess you could say I conquered that phobia. Now I just need to take care of tornadoes, falling, and drowning... But I digress. Still, we've all had a Darren person in our life, and though seeing them as scared as we are of them can bring a sense of karmic justice, it's worth keeping in mind that they need help just as much as we do in those situations. Anyway, great story so far, and I hope to see more of it soon!
