So this one was really hard to make. Amur returned to his devastated homeworld. He had learned a lot from Ceos, learning to balance his rage. Now the leonin has sent him back home to remember what defined him before his spark had ignited. He had been a champion of the God Rhonas. His God had fallen but Amur never had given up on him. The gods had to be originated somewhere and Amur would find out where and maybe his God wasn't lost forever.
The hard thing about this card was to combine the various things I already had previously created for Amur as well as his new story and the forth color. Not only did I have to make up abilities that would be worth the high castings costs but also their restrictive nature and then they should at least be connected to the other cards.
So this is what i came up with. The ability are partly based on existing cards like Rhonas or Aura Mutation.
Let me know what you think, Amur's development is very dear to me either story or card wise so I really am curious about your thoughts.

Hmm... that +2 is an interesting ability.
If I read that right, he becomes a 7/4 creature that can safely attack. But if you choose not to attack (or he's still summoning sick from having just been played), he can block someone attacking you.
How would that work if I choose to attack him, since he's still a planeswalker? Would he only be able to block one creature swinging in at him?
Since the damage prevention doesn't extend to the next player's turn (smart move because other-wise he'd never be vulnerable), he would still take loyalty damage if either he was attacked or if he blocked for himself.
I also like the idea of that +1 ability, but I wonder if it should be a 0 loyalty or even a minus ability since it can be used to great effect in the right board.
The -4 is perfect as it is. Cost means you can't abuse it too often.
I wonder if the ult cost should be raised, because with a base 5 loyalty you could reach that ultimate in 2 turns. 5 -> 7 -> 0

There is already a rule for planeswalkers as creatures since you can make them like that with Mycocynth Lattice and March of the Machines. You are still allowed to attack them, which I agree about the damage prevention, I had to do a double take on that too lol.
I agree about the ult being raised, but the second part of the emblem is written so that any creature damage causes players discard not just creatures owned by the player controlling the emblem but I’m not really sure if that is enough of a downside to affect the cost of the effect.

Alright, so to your first post, my train of thoughts were that, if you play him and making him a creature wouldn't be something you want to do, you still have an option to plus him and not 'waste' a turn by making such a big play from which you then would have nothing if you also don't have anything to blow up. I guess it was a very situational thought.
For the last ability, I compared it to Overrun. I know it's not the same, but for the sake of game winning. Overrun comes down on turn five. Amur's ult won't go up before turn seven for much less damage. Of course it has upsides towards Overrun. But I try to think of it also from the side of the opponent. In the late game, what would I rather face? An announced buff which I might be still able to interact or one that comes down and I get attacked immediately unless I counter it. Also for the sake of this comparison, tample would make a big difference.
I know the deathtouch/indestructible ratio might set this comparison off, but that was still what I had thought and Overrun is kinda the go-to card when it comes to effects like this. Also the second part targets every creature which might be a bit of a gamble, depending on the opponent(s) I guess.
At last, the wording of the ult. I guess combat damage would be possible, tho after having a lot of troubles fitting all that text into the frames, I dodn't thought about that anymore to be honest.
Well, that was what I had thought at least.

Hmm. This is a 6-drop, which is the high end of playable is most constructed formats.
Ah, I didn't realize that +1 was a may trigger. It would make sense, assuming that you're afraid that your opponent has exile-based creature removal (like Vraska's Contempt), but I don't know how frequently that would come up. I'm think on something with an average of 2 power, repeatably being able to turn a creature into a Pot of Greed seems strong, but maybe the fact that it's a turn 6 that requires 4 colors is a difficult enough prospect that it's quite fine.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the ult itself, but I wonder if the opponent will have enough of a chance to respond.

Well, Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile are quite frequently played. Also things like languish or any bounce spell would set you back to have at least wasted a turn.
Also I think since the emblem lacks the trample it is possibly not as deadly. Of course it requires a board state to be efficient, but if you want it to work with Amur himself, maybe because you have no creatures or whatever, you would also need another turn to set it up so he wouldn't die by using it.
Also besides attacking there has been printed quite some ways to interact with planeswalkers. So this late in the game, if you didn't use all your removal yet, you are pretty likely to have something I think and if it is a well timed lightning bolt or even a shock it would still be enough to prevent the ult.
