(main idea for this one was that he's some kind of partisan/spy/something like that
leather hat he wears is made to resemble rooster/natural leader figure more
also he paints camo/ritual patterns with clays/natural dye staining)

these are somewhat near-civ stage race f humanoid birds
their society based on race/species=magic abilities hierarchy with owls being at the top

their society is really religious mostly supporting their Sun-God with a few smaller cults largest and oldest of them being the Everliving Fire
larger and higher ones in hierarchy also support magic abilities from creating flames and manipulating things to full-on turning to human, animal and all in between

smaller peeps (also weakest magic/lowest in h but there a lot of them) are constantly in wars with their current government structure
also there a constant larger wars between the cults, countries and seagull pirates from mountains and sea
