I'm wondering if I'm the only one who remembers this sequence...

I second 
arkansas' warning. It's fun to do pieces of art about it as sattire or fun, but Ouija boards are no joke. They open a gateway that's difficult, if not impossible to close afterwards, and invite just as many evil spirits as they might neutral or good ones. Don't give any of them the chance to mess with you. I guarantee almost every time you'll regret it. I've heard enough personal accounts to know.

I have little use for superstition myself. I'm a paranormal investigator and researcher with a background in physics. It's an interesting subject as its the only way we can see the aspects of the next leaps in science. Unfortunately the mainstream community won't even take it under consideration that such things exist. My faith and study of The Scriptures has provided a framework to put a lot of the things i observe and read about in some semblance of order. The things that are out there can be grouped near as i can tell like this: demonic... rebel angels out to screw your chances of having faith buy filling your head with nonsense. They know everything about the universe and you for that matter. So theres what's answering the board. People are very much loved by God... and they HATE that! They know they're doomed so they're going to wreak havoc within their power before their time is up by leading people down false paths. Unclean spirits... another demonic affectation. so called in the OT unclean... which means stinking... and that is what they do. If your house smells like an open sewer and the plumbings fine...GET OUT! Then comes the lighter stuff... there's childlike and animal things running around in the shadows...since an evil entity can take any forms it pleases, it can be a demonic thing, Bet you're wondering about ghosts... Many are the above things. by my understanding human haunts are very rare... although places can have "burned in" presences.. a little part of a person that got lost in space and time from a trauma. or its a repeating show that only sensitives can see... That is probably over simplifying things but that's what it's like.
