This is Video Squadron: Gamerman. It was a series that was thought up by mewmewspike in 2016 and I considered adapting it in 2018 (I wanted to do Medievalger in 2017 as it marked the seventh annivery of Sonic Jr's Master Sword and Ocarina Quest).
This series has the following firsts in Super Animal Squadron:
1. The first series to have the colors Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Black.
2. The first series where the White Ranger is part of the core team. Said White Ranger is also both the first White Ranger and the first male ranger to take the place of the team's Pink Ranger. This would make him GokaiPink's first male counterpart in SAS.
3. The first series to have a female Blue Ranger.
4. The first series to have a non-mammal Black Ranger.
5. The first series to have a horse as a ranger. As well as the first series to have a male bird ranger, a male domesticated dog ranger, and a wolf ranger on the core-team.
6. The Blue Ranger is the third overall female cat ranger in SAS (Excluding the TUFFRangers), but is the first to be a domesticated cat (As Charisa and Iness in Medievalger were a cheetah and a lioness respectively, which are wild cats).
Things that this team does that Power Rangers and Super Sentai hadn't done as of 2017 (This was posted before the 2018 Super Sentai Series was announced, so I don't know if that series will also be doing any of these things).
1. This team has a male ranger who takes the place of the Pink Ranger who is on the team from the beginning (In PR and SS, any male rangers on this place on the team always came later as additional rangers to a three-man team).
