Any NES fans? Any Famicom fans? Any Dendy fans? ...any... Comboy fans? *crickets* Well, I don't blame ya!
To put it simply, the Hyundai Comboy is the Korean clone of the Nintendo Famicom. I decided to do a simple fan art of one of the games exclusive to the system. Meet MAGIC KID GOOGOO! This was a game made by ZEMINA (the company that made a bunch of Mario knockoffs for the MSX and SEGA Master System) and, like other games made by them, have stolen assets from other games! For one thing, the music uses one of KONAMI's sound engines (I assume the one taken from Twin Bee?). For graphics, GooGoo's main Sprite looks like it was a butchered version of a Final Fantasy character. I could go on all day writing about this game, but I like you guys to enjoy!
