Unlike so many people, I do not have a DS that can be called "cute". It is not a pretty colour, it isn't even a little "lite" model. I'm still kicking with the original, default blue, giant brick version of the DS.
I seriously think I could club someone to death with this thing. I've certainly klonked myself in the face with it more then once. That bitch hurts. :|
(Disclaimer: Actually, I love my old brick DS. The light models seem so flimsy to me. I just wish I could have gotten in in a different colour. :T At the time it was only blue or silver, and I did not like the silver ones.)

Oh yeah, I forgot. Another reason I got the older model is because I like to take apart all of my toys down to every last little part and I figured it would be easier to take apart the older systems because they would be less likely to have those weird triangle screws or hex screws.
Plus it is easier to self service it if it is broken. I cracked my screen big time once(by landing all of my body weight on it on the hard asphalt... oops.) and it was actually quite easy to replace the screen. That was a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a new PSP. It was actually 100% free because my extra screen came out of a broken PSP I found in the alley.
