In a sense, YES, I agree. Tim Curry WAS an amazing Pennywise for what it was for a TV movie. I'm glad they finally turned it into a movie and could actually make it what it SHOULD have been. It's a similar debate as to who was a better Joker: Nicholson or Ledger. Both were fantastic for the times.
