Damu Damu was a Vega Saucer Beast from Ep. 6 in the Grendizer Anime, and was a massive animal type Saucer Beast – with the red head and long red neck of a dragon, 8 red Tentacles on the side and a red tail with a claw coming from the bottom. Much like the Beasts of Game Game's type, the Saucer Mode was the actual body with the head and extremities coming out from the sides, and was adorn with a cone like structure on top. His tentacles where large vacuum weapons that would lift anyone and anything – prisoners would be stored inside the beast on a holding facility inside the cone structure (with the entrance at the bottom of the of the beast, were the tail would come out). Inside the holding area, lie a ceiling with spikes, but it could be drain of oxygen, to suffocate the prisoners, as well eject them to their death, throwing them while the beast was in the air. Damu Damu could fire green color lasers from his eyes and a laser from the claw at the end of his tail, he could also release large spikes to replace his tentacles if these were cut off.

Hikaru takes the bus to Tokyo, and Danbi, asks of Banta to be her guard during her travel, but as soon they arrive, they bus is lifted into the air with other cars, which are stored in the belly of the massive Saucer Beast Damu Damu. Koji is set out to investigate and discover both Hikaru and Banta are among the hostages, and get captured trying to help out. Daisuke launches Grendizer reaches the Beast, but has a hard time thinking of a method of helping them out – in the meantime, Banta's mother runs to the farm and informs Danbi of the situation.

Damu Damu tries to capture Grendizer in the process, but fails, then it is order to land, with the Space Cross swirling around it. Inside, people try to escape as the spiked ceiling begins to lower, and two workers get sucked out as the oxygen is remove from the chamber, making suffocate the remainder, Koji then uses his TFO's oxygen supply to buy time. Umon suggest to distract the Beast by following him into the sky, to use the Spin Saucers to cut the tentacles off, in which Koji can push the prisoners out and Grendizer could pick them up (OKAY, SURE, WHY NOT?!!).

Daisuke proceeds with the plan and calls its attention, Damu Damu follows Daisuke, as Koji puts the people in the vehicles and uses the TFO to push the cars. The Beast then creates a cloud cover, seemingly knowing of the plan, and tries to repel Grendizer with it's optic Beams. Daisuke hits him with Melt shower causing it to come out, then uses the Spinning Saucers to cut the tentacles off, Koji the cars with the people inside and Daisuke grabs them and puts them on the ground. With the Hostages Grendizer goes full force on Damu Damu, who now releases spikes and spins to hit Grendizer, his progress is however slow by the Hand Beam and Shower Punch, with Koji providing back up support. Damu Damu grabs Koji and the TFO and attempts to crush it, but Daisuke uses Double Harken, cutting the head off. Damu Damu then free falls and its remains explode above the city, Gandal scorns Blacki for the defeat. Later, Banta's mother thanks Koji for saving his son, while Danbi scorns Daisuke, for not been around when trouble comes (unbeknownst to him of his real identity).
