It wasn't your fault. It wasn't the rocket's fault. It was the asphalt.
I built a bi-wing boost glider called the Flying Jenny from plans in an old, old issue of Model Rocket News. I flew it at a park and it made this big, glorious circle and touched down on a sidewalk as if that thing was a runway. Just like I planned, right? Scraped up the bottom of the glider, but it was SO worth it.
