I bagged a few stuff at my second fur con (as well as ACFI 2nd year). Last year I when overboard and commissioned six fursona badges. This year I only ordered two custom art pieces, mainly I was busy doing some volunteer work. Stiff ended up with lots of goodies.
The only fursona badge I got was the leather one on the bottom row. Don't see too many leather ones so I decided to go for something I little different. I need to set it out in the sun so it would have this nice age look to it in time. I wished it had leather straps but the artist didn't bring any to the con. I plan to add some later. I also got the leather swag bag from him. I looped the straps on my belt and it came in handy for carrying stuff like my action camera.
I also commissioned an art portrait (on the bottom right) from one of the artist that did a badge of me last year. I think it captures me quite nicely.
I bought the ACFI badge holder and the green fiesta metal from the San Antonio Pets Alive! organization.
For doing at least five hours volunteering work for the con, I earned the volunteer badge in the center. I did about 10 hours in total so they also gave me the Certified Squennec Family badge on the middle top row.
Most of the work I did was basic badge checking for panels and making sure not too many people get on the elevators as they have a bad habit of breaking down... trapping people on it. The limit was 6 at first but reduce to 4 during peak hours as people would jump on between floors. Fun times. The shorted of volunteers got so bad that I did double duty three times, twice for guarding the elevator and a nearby (around the corner) panel and once with two panels across the hallway from each other. I even did a quick check at a panel that I actually wanted to attend as well. odd that a con with a thousand attendees and only a handful of people made the effort to volunteer.
Other stuff includes the t-shirt, con book and my sponsor ribbon. I have a few more stuff coming up on my next submission.
p.s. I forgot the mention some sort of ninja button in the center that I got for volunteering at the con.
