As you know, eyes are critical to emotions and easily half of the expression spectrum. The other half of the expression spectrum is facial expression and body stance, both of which you understand well.
You don't really have an eye style that is best. They are all most well done. I would like to see you get more into romantic themes though. That does not have to be sexual in a "porn" way. One can be romantic and not go into total nudity. I think you could do it most tastefully.
And I would be remiss if I did not mention that your equines are unique from everyone else's.
Here's why.
You keep the oblong shape of an equine body, something I have never seen anyone do before. I have begged for it from so many artists. I can't tell you how many times I have asked, and explained, what I envisioned to an artist. No one has ever been able to do it.
But this style of yours, this equine animal shape, it makes the characters look amazing.
Essentially, you keep the flat, on the horizontal, but curved inward on the vertical back of a horse. And you keep the more pointed rib cage front of a horse.
If you look at animals, they all have this shape- but none more than equines. Human's are the exact opposite. Roundness only on our sides, flat back and front, except the ever popular chubby and thick look- something I deeply enjoy.
Your Mares look like horses stood upon their hind legs and having their hip joints swiveled to support an upright stance. You keep the neck just as a Mare has it with her four legs.
Every other artist I know simply takes some of the traits of the equine and adapts it to the "flat" human form. Rounded sides, flat front and back. circular neck, broad and flat shoulders.
You are the first to avoid this friend and I hope you can continue in and prosper in this style!
Nearly all animals have a variation of this flatter, slightly rounded back and more pointed chest. If you manage to keep this technique, you will be a truly famous artist.
And I think that you understand the feminine form so well. It's exciting to see. Femininity, motherhood and the beauty of being a woman, cry out in your work. People are desperate for this- we are sick of being the same.
As a masculine male, I can't help but be powerlessly pulled to the beauty of your feminine creatures.
Their beauty in their femininity is undeniable, from the mother smiling down at her costumed child, to Lauren River's jogging Zebra Mare. Even the Mare in the airport with her comfortably ripped jeans and trying to call her pickup, has a beauty to her- a feminine beauty.
Forgive what I say next, because I have had people take it the wrong way... Some people would think it crass to admit such things as I do below, but you are an artist and I hope you understand.
You have a deeply beautiful and feminine soul, it shows in your art. If you are not a woman, it means nothing to my point, save you have as deep an understanding of the feminine nature as I do. And a part of you loves it too, just as I do.
That knowledge and love shows in all your works and is how you are able to melt the masculine heart without using porn or showing overboard erotic scenes.
I know that's a lot to say here in the open.
I struggled with perhaps replying in private... But I know for a fact that others feel this about your work. They simply lack the words to say it. Or they are too shy. So I thought it best to proclaim here for everyone to read and agree. Least I think many will.
I have given up on shyness and I certainly can't draw what I feel, but there are times when a thousand words are more helpful than a picture.
This is one of those times.

I’m absolutely speechless
That was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard and I’m so incredibly flattered that you stopped to write every single word of this. Truly I cannot express to the extent to which this means to me
When I first started I set out to capture femininity through subtle means, because I realized that subtly was the greatest at conveying the message of femininity to where interpretation was unique rather than forced. So I chose the most beautiful creature I could think of, the horse, and combined it with a female human in a way that would be portray beautiful through her strength. But most importantly I wanted her story to be yours. I noticed long ago the best art was the art that I created my own story of and in a way we all do the same whether that be connecting to a story or creating one entirely, because what made me want to create was so that everyone could have that chance to feel something extraordinary, regardless of sex, race, or any of that.
I must say when it comes to how I draw my horses and my messages, NEVER have I seen someone guess the entirety of my work with such pinpoint accuracy. I just find it so astonishing how you were able to do expertly analyze everything and get such a ridiculously accurate take on how I create! I would love to y’all with you further about your views of equine artwork, if you don’t mind, and again I can’t thank you enough for how absolutely beautiful this was!
