Fresh off the Doc's drawing board, the fifth of a series of Fraggle Rock stories featuring Kiki and Darl. Highlights are prominent positions in the story for The World's Oldest Fraggle, and Marjory, the Trash Heap. Also, the most ambitious original "song" so far. I call them songs even though there is no tune, of course. Even if I could write music, how could you read it? Doggerel is what it is, really.
Although I've given a lot of hints to how Darl became a Fraggle, so far I've held back the full story. I have another one coming up that I want to write first. With the final, origin story, I may be finished with this cycle o narratives. Then again... I have partial ideas for at least two more that could be added.
The big question is whether anyone reads them?

I needed to delete the file to make a couple of minor changes, so this is a fresh copy. Unfortunately, I "lost" a comment. But before I deleted the old file, I copied this comment by *Star_Skybright*.
"You capture the spirit of the rock so well. Nice hint the fuzzy rats weren't always what they were, either."
Although Philo and Grunge are given little attention in the series, a careful viewing will reveal quite a lot about them. For instance, that they do not remember their original home, but that they do know they had one. The appear to have lived before Marjory became alive ... but when that was, nobody knows. And, most important, they are rat-like creatures, but not actually rats. It seems as though that similar creatures may once have been worshipped by the Doozers, though perhaps not ... since the image on the cave was altered. I added nothing to their story or origin that cannot be found in the Henson canon.
