While I was in Sweden I visited a lot of forests and national parks or nature preserves. On one day it got a little cloudy and rainy but that had the added benefit of inspiring me to a setting for a new fan-created world for Magic The Gathering, being based on northern landscapes and folklore. what i hoped to turn into an open project if interest should be shown.

Now on this pic we have Ayric and Cydrin who are father and son and the leaders of the human tribes. Their tribal setting is based a bit on vikings and scottish concepts and then taken from there. Usually they wear light clothes since a heavy armor would be a hassle when they turn into bears. Yes that's correct, they are shapeshifters with the natural abilities to turn into feral bears.

This painting is also my part for a contest that I got invited to by CGTrader. It's more or less the first time I take part in something like this and while I probably have little chance, I would really appreciate your support with a like on my pic in the contest
