Wanted to post this here as well as on my costume/puppet making account since I'm really happy with it :)
Here's Crimson all complete!
I finished the partial back in April, and finally had some time to make the bodysuit too. I decided to go with a drop-crotch style plantigrade body to get the toony bat look I wanted, it was my first attempt at that particular style and I'm really really happy with the result!
His wings are made from fleece with hand-sewn ouija board inspired markings, the markings on his body are also all hand-sewn and inspired by various Halloween related things.
I actually made a version of this suit back in 2014-2015, which was my first full suit (it's here if anyone wants to see: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22201188/) and looking back I'm really happy with my improvement. The suit looks much more like what I had in mind, and is much comfier to wear!
