I've always enjoyed designing clothes for my characters. I tried to keep things rather simple in this comic just because more clothing detail equals more time drawing, but I do specifically remember that jacket Jackson is wearing - the hoot, with its forward facing lip, is something I grabbed from Assassin's Creed. The chevron along the chest was inspired by something Ash Ketchum used to wear.

The design of the buildings here was pretty simple. I first made a slightly gradient sky background, and then used the selection tool to cut out a silhouette of the cityscape behind. I filled that in with a darker color and then added some lights.
