The darker background around the panels was actually accidental, but I felt it fit the mood for the scene very much, so I decided to keep it that way.
Not sure what to say about this page apart from that I'm already enjoying the interactions going on. Apart from that, I can't really offer more. It was a tricky page, but it was a labor of love as always, and Kyrio really brought the visuals to life with his astonishing shading work. Once again he outdid himself and the comic is even better for it. =)

As you said it, it looks just awesome. Just the entire setting and how the panels are placed, giving you truly a feeling of how irregular he is feeling....all together just simply well done.
I am truly becoming more and more curious now who that female Istrala is, in what ways she knows Rohan, and so forth. Also really curious about possible explanations of that female Istrala, why she acts the way she acts, trying to work with that Soul-Eater to fight humans. I guess it will boil down to something like 'We are now what we are, we cannot fight our nature' . To which I would reply that first, even as an Istrala she still has her free will, and second, as Rohan is showing perfectly, one can be a decent and friendly Istrala, it is not like Istrala are meant to fight humans at all times. If you are a mean Istrala, it means you became that because you were a mean human, thus chosen by a mean Istrala to fuse together. So saying they have to fight humans, simply because they are Istrala now is not really an arguement.
That is at least what I gathered so far from the lore. ^.=.^
