As for ideas? People already mentioned tentacles. halloween / fall coming up, so pumpkin vines, witch's brew.... glowy ones come to mind. Pfft, taking the ghost thing literally, if you'd wanna play with transparency and glow effects.

Sometimes going a bit out of your comfort zone helps. When I get stuck on writing I'll go and write a short story in a genre outside my stories. I like action so I'll typically go for horror or romance. It helps shake the tree.

Perhaps drawing a single frame TF of some sort. Maybe TG. Or if you'd like maybe a landscape, practice drawing furniture and/or sheets rumpled up.

His profession is a sage in search of chronicling hidden or obscure knowledge and preserving it in scrolls and books for future generations. He has an adept command of wind magic, which can be a bit difficult to convey in art (if you want to try your hand at it), but I like the idea of an old explorer exploring ruins and majestic landscapes, or even doing something bookish like pouring over a tome.

perhaps something like a person rising from a swirling mist of various colors, dripping in something like white Elmers' glue and crystalline brilliance fluids up to their ankles with a commandment from above "You don't get to leave the table until you eat all of your dinner!" A giant spoon and the rim of a plate are seen in the background. Some poor cat person probably.

By the looks of the comments, a lot of your watchers have looked at your doodle.
My suggestion is a simple 2 char sitting at a cafe table outside talking and drinking tea/ coffee. Background is very blury to keep the focus on the char.

Maybe just watch series, listen to new music, play games or do something else really a few days :) and start fresh after a short break with new ideas
