Sylvester works as an arborist. As a tree snake, he has learned how to make sure trees live a long time and grow nice and big. Both for everyone to enjoy the shade and so he has has plenty of trees to climb and coil up in. He uses his body to wrap himself around the tree and get to where trimming is needed without damaging branches with a ladder or cherry picker.

Here he spends some time to himself, his long body hung over the tree branch. Legs are overrated, here is is nice and secure with no chance of falling off.
