So... this wonderful Eurofurence 24-themed badge has a little story behind it.

Every year, since the Eurofurence 17, I'll get a badge from the highly talented and super friendly  mirri
Either con-themed or just something else...but I always get a badge. Or two. ^.^'
I love her style and how alive their artwork always feels... and that she doesn't turn her nose at Babyfurs, but does adorable clean pictures of that topic, even if she isn't connected to this subgroup at all.
(I was her first Babyfur she every drew, to be honest ^.^' )
And over time, we also became friends (tho I always pay for my commissions and never ask for free art, just because we're friends)
This year however was a little different.
Due to health problems, Mirri didn't feel well and I really did not want to bother her with my badge commission.
A couple of weeks before the con, I asked another artist to draw my Aviator Con badge, which also turned out great. Hats off to StrawberryNeko for that.
Still... it felt like something was missing and knowing she had a place at the Dealers Den, I visited Mirri's table, as soon as the Supersponsors cleared out and normal Sponsors were admitted.
Found her table, walked up to her and asked her, if she maybe had one slot for a con badge left (she does a few directly at the con), because it didn't work out this year.
At that point she interrupted me, said "But it did", smiled and handed me this badge...
Whamm!
So I stood there in the Dealers Den, thunderstruck and totally taken by surprise.
Felt my eyes filling up with tears and it took me a while, until I could even speak again.
(Yeah, I was actually fighting not to cry at this moment, as my friend Allan could confirm ^.^' )

I really love how little Sascha and Sammy are interacting with each other, how happy that little bearkitty looks and how eager Sammy wants to learn to fly.
