If you're a content creator and you want to get more for your buck, I'd honestly suggest leaving Patreon and setting up your own service. Once I put my mind to it I was able to set mine up in a single day (might take longer for you, but seriously it's not that hard). Here's what you need ...
- PayPal Business account (you should have one anyway, it's a good service that's free)
- Set up a subscription button via PayPal. It is INSULTINGLY easy once you have a business account
- Set up a single webpage (there's tons of actually free webpages out there). All you need is a landing spot to put your PayPal Subscription Button code.
- Set up a mailing service for your subscribers (I used MailChimp, which is free and super easy. You may want to use another system).
