Continuing with the giftart for followers, here's Kyomana! Well, Kyo as an anthropomorphic cupcake. Dae was responsible for the original, oh so cute image, that led to this one.

The cupcake is once again, around 2 inches by 2 1/2 (tail included)
This one is also a mild paperweight, containing copper, nickel, zinc, and other metals inside to weigh it down.

The floating hearts were an ongoing debate with this one. Mostly because they would have to have an obvious support structure and I prefer to try and hide that stuff.
In the end though, I felt the hearts were an integral part, and bent some floral wire (the finest gauge I have on hand) and then crimped them slightly to keep the hearts fairly locked in their places. An accidental over crimp split the wire, which worked out, allowing me to position them closer to how the picture had been.

Time spent? 3 hours.
(I will be updating the paint a bit though after this first coat dries. I want to tidy up the cupcake wrapping and hide the metal in the cherry further.

One final note? I had to fight the urge to write muffin constantly. Something in my brain just doesn't work with "cupcake" in spite of the icing and cherry.
