More of Gus, the zombie pony for
Hyasinth, who I'd like to thank again for his patience during this busy point in my life.
Excuse the crooked eyes, they kept falling out. We put the head on a banana stand, so it kept wobbling around and looking off in funny directions, to our annoyance.
He's just partially pinned up in these images, more to show progress to Hyasinth than anything else. I am aware that there are still many things that need to be done-- tightening up the fur (duct tape patterns are never as perfect as you'd like them to be, I have determined), re-adjustment on the eyes, actually do the stitches and eyebrows (those pictured are just black fleece scraps so he stands out from the walls better), add his ears, finish his mouth, etc etc. I figured I'd mention this because it seems that some asshat always gets all excited and tries to to tell me I have forgotten X, despite the title being called a "work in progress".
On a slightly related note, Nephis helped me steal/acquire a nice drafting table from the neighbours, who were either throwing it out or have learned the hard way never to leave anything valuable unattended in Montreal. It's so versatile! Right now I'm using it primarily to block out his unsightly 40" LCD TV and to obstruct his living room, but also it serves nicely as a work table.
