So last night was the GenCon 2018 live show for Critical Role and, boy, it was so good! Not going to spoil too much, but there were several moments when Sacred Flame was cast - there ended up being two clerics. Caduceus' method was to hold his hand up to his face and blow the flame towards the target. I had never thought of this as far as flavor for the spell but it was just so great. Somehow managed to be an aggressive action but still fit Caduceus' calm, carefree attitude so well. I decided with my love of lighting effects and magical fire, I wanted to draw him with this flavor of Sacred Flame. Uncertain of what color it SHOULD be (I flipflopped from white to pink and ended up with a matching turquoise/teal color as his armor) but I like this.
A forewarning I have several more sketches of Caduceus I want to finish up, but I'll try and stagger those to avoid overload. This big pastel firbolg just comes out of my pen so easily though.
