Over the first weekend of August, 2018, I had learned (in Facebook) that anthroartist/writer and "Fur Affinity" contributor
VickyWyman had succumbed on August 3rd. She was best known for her fantasy comic book "Xanadu" - whose many characters included anthropomorphic unicorns, dragons, etc. in a palace setting. She was 65...
Saddened by the news of Wyman's passing, I'd decided to post a drawing she'd rendered for me (in my BBS) back in 1993 at "PhilCon" (the sci-fi/fantasy convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Said drawing featured my two favorite "Xanadu" characters - 'Tabbe La Fauve', a gentleman cat (who doubles as a thief), and 'Fatima', a belly-dancing vixen - who are secret lovers.
Because it was rendered by an artist other than myself, this drawing will remain in my 'Gallery' until January, 2019 - when it will be transferred to my site's 'Scraps' section.
