2 or 3 months ago I found The Blubburbs. And people are unfair with it, it’s nice and enjoyable and at times genuinely very funny. And their versions of Captain Ahab is a freaking GDILF, I thought so from the beginning. I finally convinced myself to draw him in all his glory (and it’s visibly the first fanart the show ever got. I hope the script writer with who I spoke doesn’t get weirded out if he stumbles upon it !)
I always saw Ahab, whatever the version, as old but muscular, like the show (that’s why I love) and covered in scars with all the sea fights he had against whales.
