Having been around for many thousands of years, Xena isn't surprised by much anymore. She lived through wars, saw the extinction of the now-fossilized Pokemon, and hibernated through the ice-age. That being said, she's never one to back down from a fun experience. She messes with many different kinds of pokemon (and even some humans, though she stays in disguise for this) and has... no real sense of modesty. She'll say things out loud that otherwise would make a sailor blush.

One of the more defining characteristics is her tail – specifically, the Peridot embedded into it. Her species has those, and it seems as if they hold some sort of energy or power stronger than most other pokemon have. As such, if any psychic energy is noticed, the source is that gem in the tail. It seems to be limitless too – being able to bend time as well as alter reality in a sense. If this happens, it's easily mended.
