Yaaaasss…

No… never again…

You know I've always loved your establishing shots, especially of around Val Salia. However, I find the landscape of the enclave shown here feels quite lacking in detail. While I have seen your depictions of Val Salia improve, I must say it feels like the enclave looks the same as when you first drew it three years prior. Dare I say worse? It doesn't bother me in panels where your main focus is of the character(s). But in a panel like panel 5, it's hard not to notice the bareness. Unless, of course, the bareness is intentional– the yinglets live in a green desert– at which point, I apologize. I just can't help but feel disappointed.
Nevertheless, the return of the infamous yinglet guards is a win. I have never forgotten them; their charming lack of whit has left their interactions with one another memorable in my book. I know I've mentioned this before, but they remind me so much of those two guards in Pirates of the Caribbean. I just know a line like, "Unless, of course, you knew you wouldn't believe the truth even if he told it to you," would throw them off by a mile.
