Kei was born into the Shimizu clan, having grown up in the Ninjutsu Complex. From a very young age, he was taught the art of Ninjutsu and was a master of the craft by age 24. For the next 5 years, he would complete missions for the complex and create a reputation for himself.
Then, during a mission in New York, he met and befriended a female Shiba Inu named Melody Kaelin. Throughout the course of his time in New York, he and Melody grew closer and eventually fell in love. When the mission was done, however, he had to prepare for a tearful farewell. Melody, on the other hand, desired to stay with him- even if it meant leaving her home behind.
Kei and Melody would go on to wed at the complex. They would have a son named Masato 3 years later. They were a happy family. But after 5 years, that happiness came to an end. Melody fell ill and passed away within a week. Despite being in mourning, Kei was concerned for his son who seemed to be hit especially hard by Melody’s death. As the years went on, he could watch as Masato went from a bundle of joy to a cold, miserable man.
