Lagiacrus is one of the coolest of all monsters from the games.

I was so happy when I saw Lagi was in Stories, I could have my very own lagifriend~
Less so when I found he got cut from MHW just before release :'B

Unfortunately I was really hoping this would be their chance to bring water combat back and revamp it to be amazing like they did with all the mobility and that damn teaser gameplay. I agree wholeheartedly with you.

One of the things that's really getting me here is how big a deal they made over "Hey guys look who's coming back!" for MHX before it released, getting a whole article to himself for the announcement... Doing something similar for Stories too (to a slightly smaller extent though) But then for MHW not only do they cut him seemingly at the first sign of trouble but then when a whole community starts excitedly jumping at the video of lagi in the game, they decide to spit on them instead of realizing that they made a pretty damn big mistake there. For good measure, they also neglected to add him into the "Classic Monsters" stickerpack. Because when we think of iconic monsters from the 3rd generation, Gobul is definitely the first thing that comes to mind.
