The enhancer will affect the part of her body wherever is put on. Giving either speed, strength, heal or improved senses.
However, many warriors/mercenaries don't use enhancers because of their downsides.
For example: speed enhancers will make the softest of your moves a lot faster, hurting yourself in the process. In a matter of seconds you can hurt your own arm so hard, making it unusable for a few days... I'm ok with my current speed, thanks.
Strength enhancers greatly increases the user's capability to land deadly strikes but your body might not be able to handle such a strike. You can literally destroy your hand if you're not careful. Just like the cat on the picture.
She has just punched a metal shield with her hand, destroying it and almost destroying her hand at the same time...
