Okay, I don’t care that it’s Friday afternoon and no one’s paying attention to the internet. My replacement camera showed up exactly 27 hours after I put in the order (the extra few bucks to get overnight shipping? TOTALLY worth it.) So I tested it out by taking pictures of the Breyer custom I had been trying to photograph yesterday when I discovered my original camera was borked. (Thank you to everyone who bought my art and books to help me soak the unexpected cost! I am self employed and this is an absolutely crucial piece of tech for my business.)
This is Lujosa, a bay varnish appaloosa mare made over from Breyer’s foundation stallion mold. She’s been repainted in earth pigments, acrylics and colored pencil, and I honestly think she’s one of my best paint jobs! You can find out more details about her, including price and more, at http://www.etsy.com/listing/6283523.....er-bay-varnish
