A clothed variant of this, since I wanted to bring a G-rated version of the piece to the General Art Show at Anthrocon this year.
This is a bit of a wish-fulfillment piece, as it represents an ideal take on my kind of furry world. A world where "naturism" represents more than just being nude - it's an embrace of the natural world without abandoning the strides we've made to understand it. Fur replaces the need for clothing, which is now more or less decoration, and the beauty of nature is as greatly respected as the technology we develop to ensure that nature is not encroached upon with the reckless abandon of our ancestors. Petty squabbles about the differences between species, sexes, etc. are ignored, and instead an individual's own merits are what their peers value. Plus there's a little bit of otherworldly/spiritual magic, just to make things a little more glowy ^_^ Hey, it IS my fantasy, after all. You can see tribal-style aesthetics in their ornamentation, the carefree liberation of scarce clothing, the technology of Ael's smartphone and Melon's holo-cuff, and the tiny little glowing sprites flitting all around them. So yes, nature's majesty without the rejection of technology, a deeper connection to the world and all that inhabit it. I guess it's a form of Solarpunk, in a way? Regardless, it's a world I'd like to return to for more pieces, possibly even a story, someday soon.

I'm still hashing out some of the details, so nothing's set in stone yet, but to an extent it helps reduce rather destructive methods of gathering resources and aids in the medical and agricultural fields. Of course, there's also the fact that magical creatures such as the sprites seen here and others are present to make things interesting.
Regarding clothing, nudity is no longer taboo, but at the same time it's not a requirement. Basically people wear what they want and won't be ostracized for what they choose to or choose not to wear. It's all about personal comfort.
