Kaycee hummed to herself, mentally going over the notes in the songs she was to play in the next few minutes. The rosin slide back and forth along the hairs of her bow as she finished up any last minute preparations. There were quite a number who considered her success as a musician entirely based on the 'gimmick' of her growth, and that it would fade as soon as the novelty of it wore off. Maybe they were right, it wasn't for her to say, but that wouldn't stop her from taking her craft as seriously as she could.
"Miss Sawyer," one of the stagehands came around the corner. "They're ready for you now."
"Thank you," Kaycee said, setting her rosin down as she picked up her violin and started walking toward the stage. "I'm coming now." Even if her fame came from her gimmick, she still had an audience to perform for.

While she's not my most popular of characters, I love Kaycee since she's basically my first and has one of my more creative ideas behind her. Plus, violins are just a really cool instrument, so here's her getting ready to do some playing. Not much else to it.
