Kaycee sighed quietly, gently shifting her oversized figure so she could sit down on the stage without the boards cracking or breaking under her new weight. This was always the problem with her shows; the fact she would grow while playing her violin, and trying to hold it back would just result in her losing focus and severely effect her playing, she often had to work in an intermission or two, to prevent her from growing to the point the stage couldn't handle her. It was also why all her concerts were outdoor affairs these days, including this one.
It wasn't the best solution, and even she knew it, but she didn't really have many other options. Her growth wasn't really something she could control, it just happened whenever she played. She knew the mechanics behind why this was, but it didn't make dealing with it any easier.
The snowshoe cat did her best to derail this train of thought, casting her gaze about the slowly emptying seats as the audience got up to stretch their legs or get a quick bite to eat from nearby stores or fast food restaurants. However, as she gazed around, she suddenly took notice of one fur that hadn't left the area, and was even sitting right between Kaycee's fur-sized paws. However, immediately after she noticed the stranger, Kaycee also realized she hadn't actually seen her walking up to her. And, given the wolf's vibrantly blue fur and rainbow-colored highlights, there was very little chance of her being unnoticed.
Still, deciding it was best to remain polite, Kaycee put on a kind smile and looked down at the wolf. "Hello," she greeted. "What brings you here?"
The wolf smiled up at Kacee, apparently not aware that the fact she was putting her teeth on display might have caused others to be a bit uncomfortable, as her fluffy tail wagged behind her. "Hey there!" She called out. "I'm Heartsong, want to come play at my club? Pretty please?"
Kaycee blinked several times, processing the (overly) cheerful wolf's words. "Um... I hate to disappoint you, but... from my experience, most clubs are indoors. They're also not particularly large venues either... and, well, small spaces don't tend to agree with me, for obvious reasons."
Heartsong just grinned even wider, and even Kaycee started to feel uncomfortable with what she was looking at. "Oh, don't worry about that. I think you'll find my club has plenty of room for you to grow as big as you want."
While logic tried its hardest to rear its head and point out the faults in this statement, but a combination of the wolf's confidence, the slightly disturbing grin, and some sort of sensation that Kaycee couldn't quite put a name to had her slowly nodding. "Okay," she finally said, a bit unsure of herself even now. "If you... say so."
Heartsong just continued to smile. "Good, I'll make all the arrangements; I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself."

jsk244 and I have talked about Kaycee, my snowshoe cat violinist, meeting his eldritch music goddess, Heartsong, more than once. While I'd still like to explore the idea a bit more, and even discuss how it could effect things in Kaycee's own 'canon', this is the only thing that's come of it for now.
