Okay, so... this is going to be a long explanation.
First off, many thanks to
foxfencer for this bit of art.
Turns out, Foxfencer has an original species called the Kriggle; while I don't really think I can do the lore behind the species justice, but I'll do my best to explain the relevant parts for this picture.
To get the main thing out of the way, they're a race of extraterrestrials with an amazon warrior sort of culture from a massive planet that's more or less a Death World. They come in various sub-types of the species, with a varying base height based on that sub-type; they can also expand their size to a height that's also dependent on their sub-typing as well. One other major thing about them, though, is their practicing of a sort of slavery/indentured servitude among their own race. It's not as bad as it sounds, as they still do have various rights and are still a part of society... it's just very complicated, and not really something I can adequately explain without going on a long ramble about a backstory I'm not qualified to discuss.
Anyway, Talvi here is what's known as a Sunwalker, the largest type of Kriggle with a base height of 11ft, and a max height measured in miles; while she's not able to expand to her sub-type's max, she's still able to get pretty large. Thing is though... she's also kind of a ditz; she's not exactly stupid, just a bit scatterbrained. It's led to her developing a defect of sorts, where -- while she can control her height with ease -- she always weighs as much as she would at her full height; which can lead to some rather 'interesting' situations for her and her master.
As for who her master is... well, he's not yet gotten drawn; but, suffice to say, he's not one to mind having a big, heavy girl around.
