This commission hit home for me. It was from a user on Tumblr, who emailed back when my commissions were open. This was before the move in with my sister.

They requested being drawn with a character that meant a lot to them. One that had help them through some rough things and it was something about Spike that appealed to them. They wanted to have their hands meeting, separated by that ever unbreakable wall and expressed that the emotions be a happy mutual. Even though they understand they will never be apart of Spike's world, it will always be there in their time of need. I'm not describing it as well as they put it but honestly...there are so many people I know, including myself, that have a character(s) like this for them. Its the reason I want to make comics, to provide that same comfort.

I was honored to get the chance to draw it. I thank them for being so patient with me throughout the whole process since finishing this was well overdue it's time. I hope you all enjoy it and its meaning. And thank you to them for letting me draw this for you.
