A couple of hours back I regreted saying that, because now it's absolutely clear where I live... Apparently, there's only one official devil museum open to the public. :P

I was going to just look it up originally, but I secretly hoped there was an entire network of devil museums that had passed undetected by me all this time and that surely I wouldn't be able to pin down exactly which one you referenced. Alas...

Yes... That's exactly what I thought when I wrote that, too...

It's surprising, really. All cultures have devils in some form or another, and there's plenty of very imaginative images of devils in folk art - pipes, nutcrackers, walking sticks, doorknobs, etc... It' a character design goldmine. But for some reason, there's only one miserable devil museum hidden is some obscure town in the middle of some country nobody ever heard of.

Maybe it lies in the terminology. Surely I could find some quality devil shrines on the same continent as me...

I hope so anyway, because I'm pretty sure satanic doorknobs are exactly what is missing from my life.

yes, well... Most satanists don't have access to decent material (bones, horns and whatnot), they use plastic toys for rituals... I'm not sure about the artistic value of their inventories (or their artistic taste... the pretty horrible satanic websites here and there are enought of an indicator). It's horible in a way - who would want to be sacrificed by having his throat abraded to death with a blunt plastic sword during the coarse of two hours...

If there is a name for it, I haven't heard it. I think it could be some amalgamation of "digital", "sketch", "ink", "scratchboard" and "alchemy", not much use, i know, but maybe that could help with googling. There are deffinately more people doin it, even a few here on FA.
 CadaverSix did a few sketches like that, for instance.
